Zimbabwean sevens rugby team Cheetahs recently travelled to Accra, Ghana for the 2024 African Games and they came back with some silver wear. The 3 day festival started on 19 March to 22 March 2024 in the capital of Ghana, Accra.
The Cheetahs played Uganda losing 14 nil in their opening game and later played Kenya winning 27-22. Day 2 they were back to winning ways after defeating Tunisia 36-7. The final day was packed with action as the Cheetahs played hosts Ghana, losing 21 to 17. Game 2 and they were back to winning thrushing Benin 53-0 and the final game saw them crush Burkina Faso 19 nil.
