The month of April is promising to be an exciting one for Zimbabwean Hip Hop fans with the 2023 Zim Hip Hop Awards song of the year winner Bling 4 announcing the release of a 6 track EP. The rapper announced the news on his social media platforms by releasing the art cover and track list of the EP titled ‘Ghetto Yut’ which features Gemma Griffiths on Vana Venyu [track 3] and Enzo Ishal Mukati [track 5]. The EP also carries solo tracks Takano Easer [1], Hazvidi Kudhipisa [2], Ama 2k [4] and 28 Magees [6].
The social media announcement which had the caption ‘The Ghetto Builds Champions Everyday 100%’ had an art cover attached to it which had bling 4 sitting down with a cross on his shoulder with several moody and shirtless men around him. Bling 4 has explored the struggle of the ghetto life in his past projects like ‘Ndozviripo’ and ‘Nhamo Dzangu’, the EP is set to be released 21st April 2024 and comes at a time when Hip Hop fans have been waiting to hear a solo project by the artist.
