“Music is moonlight in the gloomy night of life.”-Jean Paul Friedrich Richter
Immediately following the Midnight Emotions Mixtape, the second project in the music catalogue of Hatcliffe based rapper Trayvon Jahkoh, Diary Of A Pseudo Self, is a personal reminder of the artist’s true self and a reminiscence of a series of events that happened in a certain period of his life. The nine track project released on the 11th of January 2023 on www.mediafire.com has 5 features with JT Zim(now Zimbabwe), Hamilton, T’naka AMP and Royal Brunette. In an online interview with an Arscibe writer, the 25-year-old artist said that “making music was more like how I grieve” and is a passion that works as a pressure release thus justifying the somber vibe that is dominant in this project and his music collection as a whole.
Produced and Engineered by Hatcliffe based music production wizard Tynoslick , Not Entitled, is the first track on the EP Mixtape. The track is an emphatic personal reminder that he is not entitled to responsibilities designated to him by anyone for whatever reason they might choose to do so….
“Don’t say a word to word to me, I might just say something that hurts inside”. Joining forces with music songbird Royal Brunette, the track Don’t Mind is a relatable dialogue between two people who are going through a transition from a certain stage of emotional imbalance. The track produced and engineered by Tynoslick brings to life the struggle that comes with letting go of someone whom you have been romantically attached to as shown in the words of Trayvon Jahkoh in the song who ardently avows that he “still don’t wanna let go”.
I’ve had it Askana, produced and engineered by Jt Zim. It’s a track acknowledging that they have had enough of women wanting to ride on each and every wave that you catch.
Trayvon Jahkoh on a Shona song has never been heard of until the Diary Of A Pseudo Self project. This begs the question, what made Trayvon veer from his usual English choruses, hooks and verses. The answer is unbosomed by the intro to Mwana akanaka, produced and engineered by JT Zim now Zimbabwe in which he says in venecular language “Boys, ndaona rimwe bhebhi rakapenga magetsi…”. In an interview Trayvon Jahkoh divulges the story behind the song in which he came across an unusual sight of a girl.
Forty Folds featuring JT Zim is more like a message to people who have told him that something wouldn’t work out but ended up working out. His formula might not work out for someone but we all gotta do what we must do to go up. 2022 was like a year of practice and finalizing a couple of things.

Talk… is more like asking generally what people are going around talking about, nothing to it.
I Don’t Need You ft Hamilton Black, engineered by Tynoslick is a reference to the past. A song meant to mend bridges of the past with his exes
Never Change ft T’naka Amp, produced and engineered by T’naka Amp is a reminder that he is not going to change for anybody and is going to be himself.
Losing Sleep is a song that was lost and found. Produced and engineered by Tynoslick a reminder that he is never going to lose sleep because of what somebody did and will be working on himself to get better.
The title is an idea gotten from a close friend who was on the hook during the writing process of the project ,Miss Fadzo, based in Poland
