Put out as Ti Gonzi’s last project of his successful music career, the album From Boys To Men, is an embodiment of the award winning rapper’s maturity and growth. The twelve-track album which features Christy Rose, Bagga, Mbeu, Ghost Magician, Ishan and Ndunge Yut makes use of storytelling, flashback and lots of puns to address issues like love, poverty, hard work and others.

Love is presented in From Boys To Men as a major theme with the tracks Patakasangana produced by Ghost Magician which tells a story of a short lived relationship of strangers who met on a journey to different destinations and never went beyond that due to distance lost contact. Joining forces with Ishan on an Oskid produced instrumental, the track One More Night is a love song that expresses the desire to amend the past and reunion. This theme is further explored in the track Zvawauya Kudai which features Ghost magician. The album finishes of the theme of love on a happier and cheerful tone in the track Zvirikubuda Too Sweet by celebrating the happiness that comes with love if it is with the right person.
The album also explores the theme of faith on the tracks Save Me (ft Christy Rose, produced by Craig Bone), Pindirai Mwari (Produced by Manuchie) and Saka Ndichaita Seiko (ft Michael Magz, Produced by Ghost Magician) that are presented in the forms of prayer and confession. The tracks expose the rapper’s weaknesses and gratitude relating with every individual who has gone through the struggles, aspirations and triumphs that he has gone through.
Ti Gonzi who has always been vocal about his cat and mouse relationship with fellow artists and people surrounding him in general addresses these issues in the tracks Ziliminatia and Umwe neMumwe (ft Mc Cut, Produced by Nagbeatz and Eliq Betas) by reminding himself of who he is and his life priorities thus bringing out his maturity.
